The Quinceañera is part of a Mexican tradition that celebrates her gift of life and asks God’s blessing as she continues to grow in maturity and faith.  The Church has had a role in offering blessings for Quinceañeras for hundreds of years and Shepherd of the Valley also offers a blessing ceremony for young women who would like to celebrate it in the Church.  Please carefully read over the link below so that you understand the requirements and the format of the ceremony.  Because of the limitations of time and space that we have on Saturdays, we are not able to alter the time or layout of the Quinceañera.  I’m sure you will find that the preparation and the celebration is a beautiful way to honor God’s gift and your gratitude.
