Gracious God, our Creator and give of all gifts. We praise you
for the gift of life, and for your divine guidance for our spiritual,
moral and economic growth as a community of faith.
Help us to be good, generous and responsible stewards of the
resources you have given us. Continue to inspire us to plan and
work together as one people during this time of our Capital
Campaign; so that we may eventually complete this project for
the good of us all, and for the greater glory of your name.

Reasons for Constructing the learning center
~ Sept 2024Our Parish is growing - An increase of 10 % this past year. (Currently 1500 + or - families)
SoV has 52 different Parish Ministries. We need adequate space for these groups to meet.
Our children need safe and secure areas for Catholic education.
Adult education and Bible study meet several times a week!
We have no indoor activity room for our Youth Ministry
We need an additional 6 classrooms
There is a need for additional “All Purpose Room.” Or “Special Events Center”
A Reception area for Weddings, Funerals, Fund raisers etc.
The Modular buildings are antiquated
We currently only have 4 classrooms - we propose12 classrooms plus a Basketball Court/Volleyball, Event Center for multipurpose use.
The current structures are made of wood .
There is no fire Suppression System - Only one door is available for egress from each classroom
No restrooms are accessible within current structures.
No Security System is available.
Day Care and or Preschool for the future
Building costs will never be as reasonable as they are now

Project Updates from Fr. Silverino
FEBRUARY 2024
To all of you dear Parishioners,
As you are well aware of the changes we are working on as a result of the outcome of the Study/planning before we launch the Capital campaign, the size of the building will be scaled down to fit our budget.
We are now looking at some options which will lead us to a final decision before we embark on the Capital Campaign.I am very optimistic about the entire project and we will make sure it happens. Your cooperation in terms of ideas, opinions and suggestions are all welcome. Once again, thanks to all those who have already submitted their donations for this project.
Thanks to all those who pledged to donate. While we continue to work and modify the architectural plans, I encourage you to continue submitting your donations. Be rest assured that your donations for this project will not be used for any other church project, it will be invested until we are ready to build. Please read the bulletin to see the updates on the progression of donations.

A todos ustedes queridos feligreses,
Como usted es muy consciente de los cambios en los que estamos trabajando como resultado del estudio/planificación antes de lanzar la campaña Capital, el tamaño del edificio se reducirá para ajustarse a nuestro presupuesto.
Ahora estamos analizando algunas opciones que nos llevarán a una decisión final antes de embarcarnos en la campaña de Capital. Soy muy optimista sobre todo el proyecto y nos aseguraremos de que suceda. Su cooperación en términos de ideas, opiniones y su gerenciases bienvenida.
Una vez más, gracias a todos aquellos que ya han enviado sus donaciones para este proyecto. Gracias a todos aquellos que se comprometieron a donar. Mientras seguimos trabajando y modificando los planos del arquitectó, los animo a seguir enviando sus donaciones. Dear Parishioners,The peace and love of God be with you all.
As we are all aware of the major Parish plan in the making, concerning the construction of the Parish learning center, I would like to appeal to everyone to actively participate in this project. This project has been discussed in our Church councils for the last six years. There could have been issues which made it difficult to proceed with it. Planning together as a Parish is the right identification of who we are. This is the opportunity to wholeheartedly cooperate with each other for the realization of this project.
In the first Parish survey that was conducted, more than 90% of our Parishioners gave their approval. This was a great encouragement and a sign of hope for the future of our Parish. We have all noticed that our Parish is growing every year with new members. We have had so many baptisms in the last three years numbering 145 children. Those who were confirmed in faith in the last three years were 220, those who received the first Holy Communion in the last three years were180. The number of marriages in the last three years is also a sign of hope for our church that is growing, 23 marriages in total.
According to our experience, it is always difficult to find room to accommodate our prayer meetings, our catechism classes and other related social events. There are so many other reasons to justify this plan of the Parish learning Center construction. In few weeks we are beginning the feasibility study as the initial step to this project. I therefore ask for your cooperation; for in love, sacrifice and commitment, we will make it happen.Donations in any amount are welcome. Let us all bond together for this project for its our investment in spiritual and moral matters for the generations yet to come. La paz y el amor de Dios sean con todos ustedes.
Como todos somos conscientes del importante plan parroquial que se está elaborando, relacionado con la construcción del centro de aprendizaje parroquial, me gustaría hacer un llamamiento a todos para que participen activamente en este proyecto. Este proyecto ha sido discutido en nuestros consejos de la Iglesia durante los últimos seis años. Podría haber habido problemas que dificultaron el proceso. Planificar juntos como Parroquia es la identificación correcta de quiénes somos. Esta es la oportunidad de cooperar incondicionalmente entre nosotros para la realización de este proyecto.
En la primera encuesta parroquial que se realizó, más del 90% de nuestros feligreses dieron su aprobación. Esto fue un gran estímulo y una señal de esperanza para el futuro de nuestra parroquia. Todos hemos notado que nuestra parroquia crece cada año con nuevos miembros. Hemos tenido tantos bautismos en los últimos tres años que suman 145 niños. Los que fueron confirmados en la fe en los últimos tres años fueron 220, los que recibieron la primera Comunión en los últimos tres años fueron 180. El número de matrimonios en los últimos tres años también es una señal de esperanza para nuestra iglesia que va creciendo, 23 matrimonios en total.
Según nuestra experiencia, siempre es difícil encontrar espacio para albergar nuestras reuniones de oración, nuestras clases de catequesis y otros eventos sociales relacionados. Hay muchas otras razones para justificar este plan de construcción del Centro Parroquial de Aprendizaje. En unas semanas comenzaremos el estudio de viabilidad como paso inicial de este proyecto. Por tanto, pido su cooperación; porque con amor, sacrificio y compromiso, lo haremos realidad.
Las donaciones de cualquier monto son bienvenidas. Unámonos todos en este proyecto porque es nuestra inversión en asuntos espirituales y morales para las próximas generaciones. Si conoce alguna empresa que esté dispuesta a ayudarnos de alguna manera, comuníquese con ella e infórmele cuáles son nuestros planes para el bien de nuestra parroquia y de la comunidad de Central Point.

Our Captial Campaign Committee has interviewed 3 different Capital Campaign companies and will forward a recommendation to the Parish and Finance Councils within the week. This means we would be moving forward with the next steps within the next 6 months, specifically a feasiblitity study. This study helps us determine if building a Center is even possible by interviewing parishioners and having them complete surveys to see if they are interested in supporting the venture.If the support does exists, and it is believed we can raise the needed revenue, we move to the actual Capital Campaign itself. The Campaign itself is very informational and personable. It's purpose is to secure the necessary pledges needed to get the building loan from our Archdiocese. We will continue to update you! DECEMBER 2023
Dear Parishioners,Let us give thanks to God for the many blessings bestowed upon us in this year about to end. We are all looking forward with enthusiasm and excitement to begin a new year 2024.
As a Parish, we have been abundantly blessed with an increase of membership and thanks to everyone who is serving on one ministry or more. We have 52 ministries in Number. Sustained by the love of God who strengthens us we can sustain all these ministries. Most important the Parish came up with a plan of Action aimed at sustaining all our ministries to make sure they all have enough space for spiritual, social and educational activities. The Church councils have proposed that we build a learning Center enough to accommodate all these ministries. Our Youth and young adults need more room for their activities. The learning Center is a plan that was conceived 4 years, I feel as many of you do, that it is now the time to act. To accomplish this plan, it will require a great amount of sacrifice from each one of us. When you are filled with the Love of God, there is nothing impossible. Our Younger generation is an investment of the Church. We have the obligation and responsibility to support them as they mature in faith. This is one way to evangelize the community.
To proceed with the plans to build the learning Center, we are now on feasibility study level. We accept all the ideas, opinions and advice as we continue to plan. It is our desire to let everyone be involved in this great project for the future of our Parish. We now have over 150 Youth and young adults; we also have close to 200 kids/ children in Catechism classes. If we project 15 years from now, the number will have doubled. Therefore, let’s work together to make this learning Center a reality. Please see the drawings of the proposed learning Center in the Church Foyer. We will be updating you step by step to make sure you have the right information.
