Our Guadalupanos Group is a very active Ministry at Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church. CLICK HERE FOR MEETING & CONTACT INFO The men and women of the Guadalupanos have their origins in the appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mary to St. Juan Diego at Tepeyac, outside Mexico City, in 1531. This event has led to the evangelization and baptism of millions of new Christians in the Americas. Our Lady of Guadalupe is known as the “Empress of the Americas”. The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe is celebrated each year with morning Mananitas, a procession, and an evening bi-lingual Mass. The Guadalupanos work to serve the spiritual needs of the Hispanic community and the entire Saint Raphael community through a devotion to Mary under her protection as Our Lady of Guadalupe.
